About me
My name is Pleun Meuwissen, I'm a 24 years old dutch student. Since a couple of years, close to ten I think, I found a passion for leveldesign. During that time I've worked with one engine, although this contains several generations. More about myself: Besides creating maps for computergames, I'm a theatermaker in a small group. I also play a little guitar and I'm always on the lookout for new music.
Leveldesign
During the years I've been into leveldesign, I have always worked with the same engine. To say I'm a specialist with this engine is a bit too strong, but I certainly know my way around all three generations. My main strenghts are: my keen eye for gameplay and layout (what is cool to play, and what will not work), my out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to athmosphere in a map and my ability to work in a team. Since I'm not the best modeller (understatement), I always enjoy working with a modelling artist. In past projects I've always been able to communicate my idea about a map to a modeller. The results are the proof of that.
Knowledge
- I got full knowledge of the Unreal engine (three generations)
- I got average / good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (CS2)
- I speak english and dutch fluently
- I am specialised in first person shooters
- I am a real teamplayer
